Thermal Recuperative Oxidizer

The Anguil Thermal Oxidizer system destroys toxics and organic vapor contaminants that are initially discharged into a heat exchanger where they are preheated. The VOC laden air is then passed to the burner where it is elevated to the proper destruction temperature for an exothermic reaction to take place. All VOCs are oxidized to carbon dioxide and water vapor. The hot air is diverted back to the heat exchanger and used to preheat the incoming process stream. The purified, cooled air is then exhausted to atmosphere.
